System C signs for three more years with CSC

  • 28 July 2006

System C Healthcare has signed a new three year services contract with Computer Sciences Corporation Limited (CSC), to provide services in support of CSC’s NHS contracts.

System C says this means it will continue to be part of the CSC Alliance, the local services provider (LSP) working in partnership with the NHS Connecting for Health North-west and West Midlands (NWWM) Cluster to deliver the National Programme for IT (NPfIT) in that region.

The company has been providing design, build, test and deployment services to the Alliance for the past two years and the new contract means its staff will carry on with similar work until May 2009.

System C’s chief executive, Ian Denley, said “This has been a very successful relationship and we are proud of our contribution to CSC’s significant deployment achievements to date. There is a large amount of work to be done over the coming years and we are looking forward to delivering our part.”

Bill Thomson, CSC’s Operations Director on the NHS Programme said “System C has been developing and deploying clinical systems into the NHS for over a decade. Their experience is invaluable and CSC are very pleased to be extending our relationship."
