Smartcare chosen for case management in NW London

  • 4 January 2007

A continuing care case management system provided by business technology company Smartqube has been chosen as the preferred solution for north west London.

Smartcare has been used by Brent Primary Care Trust for about a year and the company says the success of its implementation there has led to the decision to implement it in other PCTs in north west London.

Paresh Patel, director of Smartqube, said: "As an integrated healthcare information solution, Smartcare was created to provide everything a PCT needs to manage continuing care efficiently, to the highest standards.

“Smartcare is a new generation web-enabled, patient centric, process driven system that makes it easier for a PCT to better administer the activities related to the entire life cycle of continuing care, spanning from basic patient information to end-of-year reporting.”

Smartcare captures and tracks patients through each stage of their care with modules covering patient information, referrals, assessment processes, care history, finances, budgeting and reports.
