In the latest 60 second interview focusing on the people making NHS computing work, Joe Fernandez quizzes Dr Nigel Masters, a GP at the Highfield Surgery in High Wycombe, and inventor of the recording of pack years calculator.

Dr Nigel Masters is a full time GP with a track record of primary care innovation. He recently developed the pack year calculator with his practice nurse free for all health staff. It helps to determine the total cigarette exposure of an individual and helps predict disease risk and can be found at www.smokingpackyears.com, www.clinicalindications.com and www.asthmarelief.co.uk .

Networking a new photocopier to the practice system which has helped to print A4 white sheets of paper so much more effectively.
