CME credits available for WoHIT

  • 15 October 2008

The organisers of November’s World of Health IT conference and exhibition have said that clinicians attending the event will be able to claim Continuing Medical Education (CME).

Continuing education credits has been made possible by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists.

Under the terms of the agreement, medical professionals may claim up to 15 hours of credit for time spent in educational activity.

As well as being applicable in Europe, EACCME credits are also recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award.
