Alert makes big wins
- 7 December 2010
Alert has signed a deal to implement its Alert Paper Free Hospital, Alert PDMS and MyAlert systems at La Tour Réseau de Soins SA hospital in Switzerland.
The private hospital runs three facilities: La Tour Hospital, Carouge Clinic and Meyrin Medical Center. It covers specialists including cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, as well as general surgery and oncology.
The Paper Free Hospital system will provide it with comprehensive and integrated electronic clinical records as well as management tools that promote more efficient hospital operations.
Alert PDMS will enable it to store data gathered from clinical monitoring devices in the patient EPR, while My Alert will allow patients to build their own personal electronic health record.
The company has also won its second major contract in Chile. It signed a deal with Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile to implement its paper free, pharmacy, PAS, customer relationship management and management and planning information systems.
It already installed its systems under the North Metropolitan Health Service project to integrate 35 primary care centres and five hospitals located in the north of Santiago covering a population of 700,000 inhabitants.
Last month, Alert went live at Nossa Senhora da Assunção Hospital in Seia, Portugal as part of the computerization project of the Guarda region.
The project involved the implementation of Alert Paper Free Hospital in that district’s two hospitals and the computerization of the region’s 12 primary care centers with the installation of Alert Care, to promote an integrated management of Guarda’s different facilities.
