Will Smart and Keith McNeil among keynote speakers at ehi LIVE

Will Smart and Keith McNeil have been announced as keynote speakers for the tenth edition of ehi LIVE.

NHS England’s chief information officer and outgoing chief clinical information officer will share their thoughts at the ehi Live healthcare IT and digital health conference.

The event, which is organised by Informa Life Sciences, will include nine conference streams: among them an integration and interoperability strand, a new NHS Future Leadership Forum, and revamped CIO and CCIO roundtables.

There will also be one-day events on cyber security, imaging and diagnostics, acute and social care integration, mental health, primary care, and population health management.

Other high profile speakers from NHS England who are due to present include Juliet Bauer, director of digital experience; Robert Varnam, director of GP development; Claire Murdoch, clinical lead for mental health; and Kenny Gibson, director of public health commissioning.

Meanwhile, 150 separate companies will be showcasing their latest products and solutions from the exhibition floor.

In addition, for the first time the ehi AWARDS are to be co-located with the conference. Representatives from the shortlisted entrants will attend a judging day on 30 October, with winners announced the following day.

ehi LIVE takes place on at the NEC in Birmingham on 31 October and 1 November 2017.
