BridgeHead Software partners with Digital Health CIO Network

Digital Health has announced healthcare data management solutions, Bridgehead Software, is partnering with The Health CIO Network.

BridgeHead will join a lineup of NHS opinion formers and thought leaders, as well as other CIO Network partners, including NHS Digital, InterSystems and Accenture.

The CIO Network facilitates collaboration and the sharing of best practice across a leadership community spanning UK NHS organisations.

BridgeHead will bring its experience and global perspective to the cohort of healthcare specialists to drive understanding of the key healthcare challenges and support engagement with key industry leaders to better serve the market.

The company has extensive experience in helping healthcare CIOs to translate wider Government strategy into ground level information systems, enabling them to meet the demands of the evolving and heightening pressures on funding and data security, while moving forward with increased interoperability, innovation, and improved patient experience.

John McCann, senior director of marketing at BridgeHead Software, said: “BridgeHead has been supporting CIOs across the global healthcare market for nearly twenty-five years with healthcare data management solutions that enable them to consolidate, protect and share clinical and administrative information and meet the historic and contemporary challenges of squeezed funding and improved patient experience.

“Market conditions in the NHS continue to be challenging with: an ever-increasing, aging population; the prevalence of diabetes, obesity and other conditions; the need for parity between mental and physical health; and the requirement to better manage cost and increase efficiency.

“That’s why this opportunity to partner with The Health CIO Network and Digital Health is so important – it enables like-minded people and organisations to come together, share their experience, and develop solutions to address the needs of the NHS, today and in the future. BridgeHead is delighted to participate in the CIO Network and, hopefully, play its part in driving change, improving care delivery and positively impacting outcomes.”

BridgeHead Software’s Independent Clinical Archive (ICA), HealthStore™, and Backup and Recovery solutions, are used by over 1,200 healthcare organisations worldwide, and include; Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, North Middlesex University Hospital, and Nuffield Health.

Jon Hoeksma, CEO, Digital Health Intelligence, added: “The Digital Health Networks provide a unique leadership and best practice community for senior NHS IT professionals, and we are due reach 3,000 members soon. Its increasing popularity is down to a simple reason: it unites a diverse health IT community in collaborating, sharing knowledge and networking to help overcome today’s challenges in technology adoption across the NHS.

“We welcome BridgeHead Software as a sponsor to the CIO Network who will bring its vast global health IT experience to benefit existing and new members.”
