Digital transformation on track to take centre stage at Rewired 2020
- 20 November 2019
Digital transformation will be at the forefront of Digital Health Rewired 2020 as one of the seven dedicated tracks.
The event, held at London Olympia on 3-4 March, is focused on connecting everyone working on health IT with the very best in innovative and disruptive digital health.
Day two is the main Rewired Conference and Exhibition on 4 March at the National Hall, Olympia.
There will be seven conference tracks including one dedicated to digital transformation and will be sponsored by IT suppliers System C and Graphnet Care Alliance.
The track will include keynotes from policy, business and NHS leaders and pioneers on the challenges of delivering digitally-enabled transformation of health at scale.
Markus Bolton, joint CEO of System C and Graphnet, said the event provided the chance for the company to “showcase” what they are doing.
He added: “We’ll be on the exhibition floor keen to speak to everyone and to demonstrate shared records, population health, our EPR and clinical co-ordination software.
“We’re also really looking forward to hearing our customers talk from the conference floor about what they are up to and, similarly, to learn from others.”
Imaging software specialists, Agfa HealthCare, are one of the speaker sponsors.
Paul Jackson, head of marketing, Europe north at Agfa, said the company was “proud” to have been part of Rewired in 2019 and positive feedback from the inaugural event made the decision to come back for 2020 a “relatively easy decision”.
He added: “Rewired is an easy to access, one day exhibition linked to the Rewired Leadership Summit that utilises Digital Health’s wide-reaching network.”
When asked about what Agfa is hoping delegates will take away from Rewired, Jackson said he hoped it would be the fact that imaging is “critical for healthcare”.
Jackson said: “Imaging IT often gets siloed or is not part of a wider healthcare IT strategy.”
Headliners already announced to present at Rewired include Matthew Gould and Tara Donnelly, the respective CEO and CDIO of NHSX, the agency charged with leading digital change across the NHS.
Another highlight on day two of Rewired is Digital Health Data Lab Conference, which will explore the latest developments in using health data.
Tickets for the Rewired Leadership are £100 and exclusively available to senior NHS and independent sector health IT leaders.
