NHSX advertising for directors to help deliver its key missions

NHSX is continuing its recruitment drive and is advertising for directors of each of its five missions.

In a blog post, published on LinkedIn, the CCIO for health and care and deputy CEO at NHSX, Simon Eccles, says recruitment is “currently live for three out of five” of the missions.

They are mission two (give people the tools to access information and services directly, so they can best take charge of their own health and care), mission three (ensure information about people’s health and care can be safely accessed, wherever it is needed) and mission five (improve health and care productivity with digital technology).

Eccles adds that directors for each mission will have three groups of functions, along with a £100,000 yearly salary.

This includes being an advocate for the said mission as well as being in charge of delivering it.

In the post, Eccles said: “If you are excited by what you have read, we want to hear from you. We want NHSX to be as rich and diverse as the people we serve. We’re working hard to ensure fair and open recruitment, with a broad mix of talented applicants and inclusive shortlists.”

Anyone interested in applying have until 22 January to apply.
