Summer Schools July 2020 dates moved to September
- 30 March 2020
The dates of Digital Health Summer Schools 2020 have been moved and are to be replaced with a new online Virtual Summer School.
Following the latest advice from the government and to avoid the continuing spread of coronavirus, we have decided to postpone Digital Health Summer Schools 2020 until September.
On the original Summer Schools dates of 23-24 July, we will now instead deliver an online Summer School dedicated to exploring the digital responses to coronavirus in the UK and internationally. More details on this to follow.
These are unprecedented times and the safety and well-being of our event attendees, staff and speakers are of the utmost importance.
We have also provisionally held 10-11 September for a potential late, in person Summer School, at the University of Birmingham. We will continue to monitor the situation but bookings are open here with a 10% discount available for you using the code “EARLYBIRD” in the Discount Code field. We guarantee a full refund if we are unable to run the event on these dates.
We would like to thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at events@digitalhealth.net.
Self-isolation and social distancing mean we are all adapting to new ways of working and living. It also means more time indoors to read, discuss and collaborate.
As well as covering developments on Digital Health News we have introduced weekly webinars on Digital Responses to coronavirus; weekly briefing and Q&A webinars with NHSX and of course encourage you to share and collaborate on Discourse. All the information can be found on our dedicated Covid-19 page. Digital Health Unplugged has also recorded a special edition of the podcast focusing on the NHS and suppliers response to the Covid-19 outbreak – you can listen here.
Wishing you all good health and hope to see you in the near future.
