Digital Health Rewired returns for 2022 – here’s what’s in store

Digital Health Rewired returns to re-connect everyone working across all parts of the digital health community with a reimagined, in-person conference and exhibition next year.

The revamped event will run on March 15 and 16 2022 and will once again bring together leaders from across the NHS IT and UK digital health sectors.

Held at the Business Design Centre in London, Rewired 2022 will form the centrepiece of a week-long festival celebrating the best of digital, data and innovation in health and care that will include an exciting new virtual fringe. This year we have two co-headline sponsors, TPP and System C.

The Rewired 2022 programme will focus on national policy, integrated care, digital transformation, AI and data, and innovation, plus an ambitious new Digital Nursing Summit.

Pitchfest, the hugely popular quick-fire start-up competition showcasing the best digital health start-ups in the UK and Europe, also returns to the Rewired 2022 show.

New for 2022 will be the launch of the Rewired Awards, specifically created to recognise the achievements of different teams working across the sector.  The Rewired Awards will be announced at a gala networking evening on March 15, rounding off day one of the show.

Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health, said: “Rewired will once again hold up a mirror to the very best of current and future use of digital and data across UK healthcare and beyond.

“The new look Rewired 2022 is designed to provide an attractive mix of opportunities for sharing best practice, education and networking and making connections that count, that will be open to everyone working in the sector who has an interest in digital.

“For instance, we are inviting all nurses and AHPs who are curious about how digital can help them better care for patients to come along and find out more.”

An online open call has been launched for digital best practice presentations and case studies, with health professionals from across all parts of UK invited to suggest sessions for inclusion next March.

The programme, which will once again be curated by an independent programme group drawn from the leaders of Digital Health Networks, will focus on national policy, best practice and innovation with educational sessions accredited for CPD.

Early registration is now open, with tickets free to everyone working in the NHS, public and third sectors.  Tickets are also free for all start-ups and independents.

In the virtual edition of Rewired 2021 there were more than 300 different presentations showcasing the amazing work underway across the NHS.

“Rewired 2022 will make a very welcome return to live, but we are committed to retaining the best parts of virtual events, which enabled new audiences to take part, and will be running an extensive programme of virtual fringe events either side of the live two-day show,” Hoeksma added.

Confirmed partners on Rewired 2022 include NHS Digital, NHSX, DigitalHealth.London, TechUK, NHS Providers, FCI and Fed-IP and ABHI, with further announcements to follow.
