First national keynotes announced for Rewired 2023

The first two high profile national keynote speakers have been announced for Digital Health Rewired 2023.

Simon Bolton, CEO of NHS Digital and interim CIO at NHS England and Improvement will be a day two keynote at Rewired 2023 and will provide an update on national initiatives to ensure digital and data help the NHS meet unprecedented demands on services and realise the ambition of the Health and Care Act. Bolton is currently leading NHS Digital’s re-organisation as it prepares to merge into NHS England.

He will be joined by health policy expert Saffron Cordery, the interim CEO of NHS Providers, who will take the National Policy and Keynotes stage on day one.

Drawing on experiences from NHS Provider’s digital board programme, Saffron will outline the next steps for delivering digital at trust-level against the backdrop of political structural reform.

Jon Hoeksma, CEO of Digital Health, said: “The NHS faces unprecedented pressures. Rewired will once again bring together great keynotes to provide national perspectives and insights into how digital and data across health and care can improve UK health and care.”

Rewired will also showcase a fantastic array of latest best practice, case studies and experience from all parts of the NHS. The joint headline sponsors are System C and TPP.

“More than 100 sessions have been suggested in the online open call (which is open until 31 October) and we are working with a fantastic new programme team. Rewired 23 really is shaping up to be the strongest programme yet,” Hoeksma added,

Digital Health Rewired 2023 will return to the Business Design Centre in London on 14 and 15 March. The event is an education and networking event for all members of the fast-evolving, dynamic multi-disciplinary UK digital health community and aims to bring the best of NHS IT, digital and data innovation under one roof.

Delegates can expect unmissable panel sessions, debates, quick fire best practice presentations across eight CPD-accredited stages, along with the popular Pitchfest start-up and scale-up competition.

Topics include National Policy, Digital Transformation, Integrated Care, AI, Data and Analytics, Cyber Security, Digital Nursing, and Smart Heath.
