Voting starts for Digital Health Network Advisory Panels

Voting opens today for elections to Digital Health’s three professional advisory panels, which represent Digital Health Networks, a professional community of more than 7,000 NHS IT leaders.

Members will be electing 12 advisory board members for each of the three foundation Networks: CCIO Network, CIO Network and the CNIO Network. Each advisory panel sets the priorities and direction for their Network and elect a chair and vice chairs to represent the community nationally.

The Networks are committed to sharing best practices for the effective use of digital technologies and data across the NHS.

The CCIO Network comprises health informatics clinical leaders performing a CCIO-like role, while the Health CIO Network includes individual CIOs, IT directors and other IT leaders.

The CNIO Network is dedicated to nursing, midwifery and allied health professional information leaders across health and social care organisations.

Advisory panel members take on a number of roles but are primarily the voice for their representative community, working with senior leaders to advance digital health on behalf of the Networks through the development of policies and programmes.

Hustings webinars will take place this week, giving Network members a chance to hear from candidates directly on why they should be voted for. More information here: Elections – DH Networks (digitalhealthnetworks.net)

Voting closes on Friday June 30, with the results due to be announced the week beginning July 3.
