Yagua Health partners with blueBriX to digitise patient health records

Low code no code digital health platform blueBriX has teamed up with Aruba’s leading private medical provider group Yagua Health to digitise the latter’s patient health records and improve patient experience.

Yagua Health intends to use blueBriX’s enterprise-scale EHR system, blueEHR, to launch its first electronic health record system (EHR). This will allow it to better manage its patient records, while improving patient experience and care. In addition, it will ensure that it meets global regulatory standards, including the US’s ONCHIT and the EU’s GDPR.

blueEHR covers not only health records and clinical management but also the entire operational side of a healthcare delivery organisation. Yagua Health will be supported to enhance standards of patient care, digitalise its clinical workflows as well as effectively integrate with labs to manage patient results from a single central online location.

Shameem C Hameed, founder and CEO of blueBrix, said: “By utilising the blueBriX platform, not only will UCA (Urgent Care Aruba) advance its operational efficiency, but will also significantly enhance patient experience, particularly to its international clients who visit the island, through improved clinical workflows, effective lab integration and overall operational efficiency.”

blueBriX’s digital health platform has the world’s largest library of configurable and compliant health tech components, modules and APIs. Last month the company announced its expansion into the pharmaceutical sector, supporting pharma to leverage software-as-a-medical device (SaMD)-compliant solution to help drive revenue growth.

Carlos Yagua Velasquez, MD, director of Yagua Health Group, said: “Our collaboration with blueBrix represents a significant leap forward in our ongoing commitment to leveraging technology for the betterment of patient care.

“We are excited to integrate their innovative digital EMR (electronic medical record) platform, which will empower our healthcare professionals to provide even more personalised, efficient, and effective care to our patients.”
