deepc strengthens AI radiology offering with acquisition

deepc GmbH has acquired medical imaging software solution Osimis Platform, strengthening its AI infrastructure for radiology at scale, and enhancing its capabilities and product offering.

The strategic acquisition by deepc, an AI operating system for radiologists and enterprise clinical organisations, marks a significant milestone in its growth and shores up its unmatched technological capabilities.

It also means that customers of both companies will now benefit from enhanced service and increased expertise in delivering AI solutions at scale. deepc’s market-leading platform solution, deepcOS, provides clinicians with access to a wide variety of radiology AI solutions, supporting them to make more accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions. With the Osimis Platform, deepc now gains cutting-edge technology and invaluable expertise in medical imaging software development.

Dr Franz Pfister, CEO of deepc GmbH, said: “Our acquisition of the Osimis Platform underscores our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions and unparalleled service to our customers. We are excited to add Osimis’ industry-leading talent and innovative technology to deepc as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in radiology AI.”

Existing customers of Osimis will benefit from an expanded range of features and capabilities, backed by deepc’s expertise in state-of-the-art AI and deployment of clinical workflow solutions worldwide. With Osimis technology integrated into deepc’s platform, clinical efficiency and diagnostic accuracy will be enhanced.

Additionally, the move will consolidate deepc’s presence in Europe, strengthening its foothold in key markets.

Peter Morel, CEO, Osimis, said: “We see tremendous potential in joining forces with deepc. Together, we will be able to accelerate innovation, expand our reach, and deliver even greater value to all of our deepc and Osimis customers. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”

At the end of last year we saw deepc partner up with Qure.ai, with the latter integrating into the deepcOS platform to help enhance patient care workflows and address escalating demands on radiologists.
