Integrated Care Stage to explore challenges of joined up care delivery

Examples of shared care record delivery and remote care will be discussed over on the Integrated Care Stage at Rewired 2022.

The stage at Digital Health Rewired will also explore the challenges of delivering joined up integrated care across the fragmented landscape of health and care. Drawing on the early experiences of leading Integrated Care Systems, Local Integrated Health and Care Records and other regional approaches the Integrated Care Stage will provide a series of panel sessions on what has worked so far and where next.

Notable speakers of the programme include Guy Lucchi, digital innovation director at Health Innovation Manchester and the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.

He will be joined by Ruth Holland, deputy CIO at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Kate Walker, ICS digital programme director for Suffolk and North East Essex ICS.

Another highlight is a panel discussion exploring how ICSs can use data and digital enablers to reduce health inequalities and support NHS recovery, which will be chaired by Dr Shera Chok, deputy chief medical officer at NHS Digital and chair of the Shuri Network.

She will be joined by:

  • Sonia Patel – system CIO and director of levelling up, NHS Transformation Directorate
  • Roda Luz Trinidad – informatics lead nurse, Barts Health NHS Trust
  • Dr Habib Naqvi – director, NHS Race and Health Observatory
  • Mary Hopkins – deputy director of IT, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust

Health and social care software and services company, System C, is the sponsor of the Integrated Care Stage.

Markus Bolton, joint CEO of the System C & Graphnet Care Alliance, said: “The Care Alliance, which brings together System C, Graphnet, Liquidlogic, CareFlow Medicines Management and Docobo is proud to be joint headline sponsoring Rewired this year. We are so looking forward to seeing everyone in person again, and showcasing our full and integrated, ICS-ready range of solutions across health and social care.

“We are pleased to be sponsoring the Integrated Care Stage, which will shine a light on the building blocks that need to be put in place to deliver joined up care, improve population health and reduce health inequalities.

“The sessions will be led by some of the country’s most experienced and innovative digital leaders, who will be sharing their insights, lessons, and anecdotes. With integrated care now firmly on the national agenda, we would encourage anyone with an interest to attend what is bound to be an inspirational and informative couple of days. We look forward to seeing you there. “

Taking place on March 15-16 at the Business Design Centre in London, Digital Health Rewired 2022 is a conference and exhibition which brings together all parts of the digital health community to celebrate the best of digital, data and innovation in health and care.

Health and care professionals will be able to network, collaborate and learn in person during two days of educational conference sessions, exhibitions and meetings, all focused on sharing best practice and innovation.

All the conference sessions will be CPD accredited.

Also taking place will be the Pitchfest competition, which returns for its fourth year. The competition will see another 16 digital health start-ups battle it out to the live final to win an NHS test bed site for their idea or solution.
