Digital Health partners with AphA for AI and Data 2024

Digital Health has joined forces with the Association of Professional Healthcare Analysts (AphA), the organisation representing the voice of health and care analysts, for AI and Data 2024.
On day two of the event, which takes place on 22-23 October 2024 in London, the data and research stage will transition into the AphA annual conference.
The collaboration is aimed at raising the profile of healthcare analysts by bringing together Digital Health’s expertise within AI, data and analytics events.
Discussions on analytics will feature throughout the conference programme, as well as bringing together senior analysts.
Speakers at the two-day conference include Dr Marc Farr, chief analytical officer at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and Kent and Medway ICB and Ruth Holland, director of data and analytics at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has been confirmed as speakers at the two-day conference.
Holland has a strong background as a board-level ICT director and is currently AphA’s director of regions, supporting its branches.
Dr Farr is the chair of AphA’s recently launched chief analytics officer network, which is dedicated to unlocking the potential of data within organisations.
A spokesperson for AphA said that the organisation was “delighted to be partnering with Digital Health” on AI and Data 2024.
“AphA will be holding our annual conference on 23 October as part of the main AI and Data event with our own dedicated stage, as well as featuring on the wider conference programme.
“The AphA annual conference 2024 will be free to attend for all AphA and chief analytics officer network members and will be a great opportunity for us to come together as a profession,” they added.
Ming Tang, chief data and analytics officer for NHS England has been announced as national keynote at AI and Data 2024.
She joins keynotes Haris Shuaib, head of clinical scientific computing at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Dr Nicola Byrne, the national data guardian for health and adult social care in England.
Other speakers at the event include Dr Abdulhussein, chief executive of Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex, and Jules Gudgeon, national digital midwife lead for maternity.
