Digital Health Networks Awards 2024 finalists revealed

Digital Health has revealed the finalists of the 2024 Digital Health Networks Awards, which will take place at this year’s Summer Schools event in Durham.
The awards, which opened for applications in April, shine a light on the best and brightest digital leaders shaping the future of healthcare within the NHS.
They celebrate innovation, dedication, and excellence across the healthcare landscape, recognising and celebrating the remarkable achievements and contributions of individuals and teams who are driving transformation through digital technologies.
The finalists, judged by representatives from our CCIO, CIO and CNIO Networks Advisory Panels and ICS Digital Council, are:
CCIO of the Year
- Dr Lia Ali, consultant psychiatrist and clinical adviser, transformation directorate, NHS England
- Ramandeep Kaur, group CCIO, University Hospitals of Northamptonshire
- Prof Tanya Pankhurst, CCIO, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust
CIO of the Year
- Natasha Chare, group CDIO, University Hospitals of Northamptonshire
- Matt Harris, interim CDIO, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Richard Main, head of digital (CIO), West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board – Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield Places
CNIO of the Year
- Simon Noel, CNIO, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Ranjit Kooner, CNIO, The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust
- Leah Perry, CXIO: nursing, midwifery and AHPs , University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust

The winners will be announced at an end of day awards ceremony and networking dinner on the first day of Digital Health Summer Schools 2024, which will take place 18-19 July at Durham University.
The event, which is exclusively available for members of Digital Health Networks, brings together CCIOs, CIOs and CNIOs, together with current and aspiring digital health leaders for CPD-accredited content, networking and best practices exchange.
Summer Schools provides a unique opportunity to learn from digital health leaders from across the UK, exploring the evolving challenges of being an effective digital leader in the NHS and the different dimensions of leadership roles.
