DbMotion and Matrix form partnership

DbMotion has announced a partnership with Matrix Knowledge Group so it can offer potential UK customers implementation services for its service orientated architecture-based integration platform.

The Israeli firm says the partnership will allow clients to "leverage robust change management methodologies" when using its integration platform to connect existing systems within an organisation or across a health community to create a virtual patient record.

The dbMotion virtual patient record is based on its eponymous integration platform and includes a web-based patient record viewer, collaboration tools, data analytics, population management and public health.

Yuval Ofek, chief executive of dbMotion, said: "The partnership allows us to expand our offering to include the full suite of services required to facilitate successful connected healthcare solutions in the complex environments found throughout the United Kingdom.”

Jacque Mallender, chief executive of Matrix, said: “The dbMotion Solution is agile, practical and affordable and has a track record of success; unlike big system solutions it delivers early tangible and valuable benefits to clinicians.

"With all our experience of working with evidence and systems to improve the quality and effectiveness of healthcare, we are convinced that this moment is seminal.”

In the US, dbMotion’s most high profile customer is the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre (UPMC), which is using dbMotion’s technology to provide a flexible platform for its clinicians to securely access integrated patient information across its 19 hospitals and 400 outpatient sites.
